Bioorganic Chemistry

The goal of Laboratory of Bioorganic Chemistry is to understand the structure, biosynthesis, and mode of action of physiologically active substances governing the growth, reproduction, and behavior of living organisms. Especially, our crews are interested in peptide hormones, melatonin, and tyrosinase inhibitor. Isolation, structural determination, cell culture, radioimmunoassay, enzyme kinetics, immunohistochemistry, and other molecular biological methods have been applied for the investigations.
